Meditation: An OverviewThe following is a short summary (prepared as a power point presentation) of some of the current academic ideas and research on meditation. It is not a comprehensive summary but should give anyone new to meditation an idea of the various types of contemplative practice and some of the effects and benefits that researchers have studied. There is no bibliography with it but if you would like one I would be happy to send you the sources, however I should thank my dad for many of the diagrams and Naomi Wright for some of the info.
